This is a great post. I see a lot of lawyers claiming that ChatGPT will not affect their work--either positively or negatively. I find that stance to be confusing.
Maybe not immediately, but it will start to chip away over time. And the affects will be greater impact and more frequent as AI tech gets better (GPT-4) and AI competition starts to heats up (Msft. vs. Google vs open-sourced AI startups). If you're a lawyer, this is one of those times you don't want to sit on the sidelines and take a wait-and-see approach. You want to start using it now.
